About

501c3 Animal Rescue group

Mission Statement:

We are focused on helping animals in need and pushing the importance of spay & neuter. Pet overpopulation is a major priority for us, it’s the root of the problem and the key to change.

Company Overview:

We are a full spectrum rescue. A guinea pig, a bearded dragon, a crow, a kitten, a litter of puppies, a pony… We do whatever we can for whomever we can. We are dedicated, we are passionate, we are determined to make a difference for the animals.

Unfortunately, there are often times when we are not able to assist due to lack of funds and/or lack of space.

I am looking to foster a pony, etc. Can you recommend anyone who could help me?

      George,

We would suggest you contact your local animal shelter to see if they have any in need of fostering. Only a few of the local shelters have space for horses so I am sure space is limited. You can also look on Craig’s List and find someone giving a horse away for free which is so dangerous! Maybe you can foster and rehome a horse to ensure he or she goes into a loving home. If you need further info or assistance email me at su@laar.org

    Hello,

I have been researching animal rescue organizations and I truly admire what your organization is doing for less fortunate animals. My life dream has been to begin my own organization for animal rescue. I have recenlty graduated with a masters degree and I am ready to dive head first into striving for my ultimate goal of helping less fortunate animals. Unfortunately, since I am just beginning my research, I have very little information on how to begin the process. If your company has any resources, advice, or information, I would more than gladly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Google The Bird Bungalow in Santa Clarita. They are a great organization that rehomes birds of all breeds and sizes.

Coco Bean was adopted. But we have some VERY cute and charismatic Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Please click on the Adoptapet or RescueMe links on our home page to see our available animals. If you see someone that you are interested in please email me directly at su@laar.org

Do you guys sell your TShirts? I just saw one on Pit Boss and am in love with it. I don’t see it available on the website but it could be a good way to raise money for the rescue.

    Thanks! Erin

Hi there. I’m not sure if you would be able to help me or have any contacts that would be able to help me but I am trying to find a home or a placement for my boyfriend’s aunt’s 2-year old German Shepard, Cassidy. The family has only had a her a few weeks (got her from the pound) but his aunt has become ill and is not physically able to take care of a big dog who needs a fair amount of exercise. The dog knows basic commands (sit, down, etc.) and is potty-trained and she is spayed with all her shots. She’s a sweet girl, just needs a bit more training. They haven’t been able to exercise her or socialize her the way she needs so she is becoming a bit territorial and overprotective. The situation escalated a bit yesterday because the dog bit a neighbor. The bite was not bad but we are concerned about escalating aggression and definitely need to find a placement for the dog where she can be retrained and the aggression issues can be resolved.I think these issues would be resolved with just a little training and socializing ww/ other dogs and people. If you know of anyone who might be interested, have them contact me. I would take her myself but I already have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I hope to hear from you. Thanks for your time!

Go to our Facebook page and post the plea with details and a photo of the dog. There are many GSD rescues out there. GSROC is in Orange County, there is another one in Burbank. Google them and see what you can find out.
