Roscoe is an amazing guy. He is very calm, responsive, smart and grateful for love & companionship. He is about 3-4 years old, neutered, great with other dogs and loves people. He is so happy to go for walks, he does the full body wag! He is currently in boarding with a local trainer and he is more than ready for his forever home. He’s a big gentle boy.

Update: Dino found a home through the boarding facility he was staying at. We are happy that this little man in now in a home.
Dino was found as a tiny pup on the streets. He is now healthy, happy and a ball of energy. He is about 9 months, neutered, loving and wanting to be friends with anyone he sees. Dino, like most PBT needs mental and physical exercise to stay balanced. If you are looking for a new best friend, someone to love you unconditionally, someone to say “hey, get off the couch and let’s go for a hike!” he is your guy.
Rags (Scrappy) is a shaggy lovebug! Rags is about 3-4 years old, female, spayed, good with other dogs, very affectionate! Rags had a family that gave her up when she suffered an injury that they could not afford to fix. Lucky for Rags, a local rescue got her to a vet and did what they could to fix her leg. Right now Rags is under the care of a trainer that is boarding her until she can get into a foster or a forever home. Her front left leg is healed and she has started to put weight on the leg. She manages well and when you see her leaping across the lawn it’s obvious that she is a healthy and happy girl.
Rocco is a darling boy we recently had the pleasure of meeting. Rocco is under the care of a trainer we know and he is more than ready to start the next chapter in his life…a place to call home, a family of his own. Rocco is about 4-5 years old, good with other dogs, good on the leash, house trained, mellow and loving. Rocco would make a great companion for anyone willing to open their heart & home to him. He is a big sniffer, he loves his walks and the huge smile says it all.
Update: Kate is great with people and other animals but she gets a bit too competitive for affection once she is settled into a home. She may be better as an only dog. Good with other dogs in neutral environments.
Kate (formerly Miss Guiness) is the perfect GSD. She is about 2 1/2 years old, very mellow, great on the leash, likes other dogs, loves to play fetch. She was living with an elderly couple that were not able to give her the attention and exercise that she desired so they traded her for a smaller, older dog. Kate
UPDATE: BOB is now in a great home! Thanks Alison for helping to find Bob a home. XO
Nina and her litter mates are too cute for words! They seem to be Chi/Daschund mix and are about 6-7 weeks old. Nina has more of a terrier look to her face. She is the biggest of the three. Btw, I forgot to mention this in the posts for the other pups but we are arranging to have mom fixed. We would never take pups without taking mom if she was in need of a home. But the people that have mom do love her and want to keep her so our job is to just assist in getting her spayed.
UPDATE: Numa is now in a great home! Her mom Sheila adores her!
Pups have been adopted. Lucy is being rehabilitated to help gain her trust in people and to build her self confidence. She is available but we will not actively be networking her until she seems emotionally ready.
Lucy was found as a stray with her 3 puppies. Unfortunately, one of the pups didn’t make it. But her two babies shown here are healthy and doing great! Lucy is about 2-3 years old at the most. She is very scared but since coming out of the shelter she is calming down and taking it slow. Teddy is the black & white pup. He is a big eater, loves to play and is the trouble maker of the two. Chip is the brown pup and he is the runt. He is mellow and a little more reserved than Teddy. He is sweet and loving. The pups are still nursing but will be weaned off mom in the next week or two. Lucy seems to be a Chi mix and the pups are Chi/terrier mix.
UPDATE: Duke is now in his forever home! He’s doing his Hound thing in Topanga Canyon…
Update: Kyle was fortunate enough to stay with an amazing foster family who helped him develop good doggy manners, regain his healthy and confidence. He then won the heart of a young teenage boy and his mother who had recently lost their pitbull to old age. Kyle is filling their home with love and he has finally ended his long journey…he now has a place to call home.
Update: Kyle was neutered this week and is recovering nicely. He will be at our next adoption event.
