Update: Kyle was fortunate enough to stay with an amazing foster family who helped him develop good doggy manners, regain his healthy and confidence. He then won the heart of a young teenage boy and his mother who had recently lost their pitbull to old age. Kyle is filling their home with love and he has finally ended his long journey…he now has a place to call home.

Charlie the Chunk was intercepted in the lobby of a high kill shelter. Puppies are extremely vulnerable to contracting viruses and I doubt Charlie would have survived in the shelter. He is now with an amazing family.

**UPDATE! Bianca was adopted by a great guy. I liked to describe her as a Daddy’s Girl and that’s exactly what she got. She is now the apple of her Daddy’s eye.
Bianca was found on the streets of Los Angeles hungry, pregnant, dirty and scared. Luckily a friend of LAAR.org was able to catch her and get her to us. Bianca was not ready to be a teen mom so we helped her out and now she is enjoying her new dog friends and her foster family. She is very sweet and great with other dogs. She enjoys chasing squirrels and playing tag.
Bodhi was at a dead-end. He was in a foster situation that was not capable of giving him the attention and exercise that a dog like him needs. Lucky for Bodhi he met Steve Barker and they made a connection. Steve has been building a strong relationship with Bodhi and he is showing amazing progress. Bodhi was frustrated, wound tight, tense, too excitable. Now he is a relaxed (but very energetic) boy that is ready to play, run, hike and be someone’s best friend.
